Piper is a one-of-a-kind artwork handwoven on a four-harness floor loom.
The Extended Family collection is an on going series of works exploring how textures, colors, and patterns interact. Every piece is one of a kind, but deeply related to all the others. I create the artworks in batches, and consider each batch to be an individual family unit, with certain pieces acting as siblings to one another. Each piece has a three digit identifying code, read as (shape.batch.iteration).
